Redback Command Staff

(CO) Commanding Officer Kevin Chamberlain (Kev Vader)

It came to pass that when nominations for the position of Commanding Officer were sought, Kev Vader was left standing out front when the rest of the Squad took one step backward.
As a punishment for this act by the Squad, he regularly makes forum posts in excess of 500 words and will mercilessly buttonhole troopers to see if they actually read them to the end.
Since signing up to the Legion in early 2008, he is a veteran of over 60 troops – chances are that if you have met Darth Vader in Queensland it was probably him!

(XO) Executive Officer Rick Oliver (Cobra)
Rick was a Founding Member of the Redback Squad, and served as Squad Leader in 2008-9 during which time the Squad expanded at an amazing rate. Rick is well-liked and respected throughout both the Redbacks and the rest of Australia, and his experience makes him the natural choice for XO.

(GML) Garrison Membership Liaison Ken Seymour (Muppet)
Ken is a prolific Star Wars collector, and has an ever growing collection of approved 501st & Rebel Legion costumes to his name. Ken has taken up the challenge of ensuring that the Redback Garrison’s costuming standards are second to none in Australia, whilst also keeping abreast of the many costuming requirements required for 501st membership.

(CoG) Captain Of The Guard Glenn Lyons (Scorp)
Another Founding Member of the Redback Squad, Glenn is a highly respected member of the Legion in Australia. Glenn is currently an active serviceman in the military and as such may be unavoidably absent from the Forums. To this end I have also asked Terry Ranger (TKTEX) if he would agree to act as Acting CoG if Glenn is temporarily unavailable. Terry has graciously accepted the position and I am confident that he will also be excellent in this role if called upon.

(GMO) Garrison Merchandise & Branding Officer Scott Piper (The Scotsman)
Scott has been active within both the Squad and TAG in organising and researching numerous merchandise and branding products. He was also The Redback Squad’s first Elite Infantryman and first Imperial Officer and will have 2 more Redback costuming firsts to his name quite shortly! As GMO he will be responsible for ensuring both the Legion’s and our new Garrison’s branding and image is correctly managed and promoted throughout Queensland.

(GPR) Garrison Public Relations Officer Adam Lochowicz (APOK)
Adam has proved to be a tireless campaigner for the Redback Garrison. He has excellent communication skills and will be responsible for being the primary spokesperson for the Garrison at official events, for liaising with media and corporate entities, and for ensuring that information distributed by (and about) the Garrison and Legion in Queensland is accurate and up to date.

(CFO) Charities & Financial Officers Anita Waite (Trinity) and Jonathan Waite (Neoeffect)
Anita and Jonathan have been leading the way for the Legion in Toowoomba, and have shown great enthusiasm for fundraising and charity work. I am happy to say that they have accepted the position and I look forward to having them both on the Command Staff!

(GWL) Garrison Web Liaison & Webmaster Jacqui Doyle (Moxxxie)

Jacqui joined the Redback Squad late last year as our first female Stormtrooper and, as a TK, quickly set a fundraising record that may never be beaten in Australia! She also has proven web design and website management skills and is well on the way to designing the best Legion website in Australia (ours)!
